How it works

Doctor, Lawyer, Professional’s download our Dictation App to your Mobile Smartphone and send voice files to your assistant or pick a Transcriptionist from our website.  Make a profile and let our Transcriptionist know your requirements.  Post your project and Transcriptionist will contact you directly.  You can see each Transcriptionist qualifications and hourly rate.  Your project budget is based on a week or month.  You can negotiate with your Transcriptionist and workout the fine details of your job requirements.  When your jobs are complete, come back to our website and click on approve and we will send money to your Transcriptionist.  We don’t send money until you are 100% satisfied.  If you need our help, please reach out and send us an email support@transcribeforme.ca

Employer Steps:

STEP 1 – Click on – Hire Freelancer from Home Page

STEP 2 – Sign Up Employer Account

STEP 3  – Click on your name from the top right corner & click on My Profile – Edit

STEP 4 – Now you’re ready to post your jobs.  Click on Projects – Click on Post a Project

STEP 5 – Your Project  Budget – is an hourly rate that you’re willing to pay transcriptionist.  You can base                      your budget on a week of work or a month of work.

STEP 6 – Fill out and Submit Confidentiality Agreement Form 

STEP 7 – Download our dictation app to mobile phone and send voice files to your transcriptionist. iPhone and Android compatible (Encryption and Password Protected voice files). You can also use a digital recorder to send voice files.  Confirm with Transcriptionist for compatibility.

STEP 8 – Download Dropbox, OneDrive or Icloud services to transfer large voice files quickly and securely to your transcriptionist.

 

Employer will pay Transcribe for me directly with credit card payment once the job is complete.  We will send money to Freelance worker once you approve that the job is complete.   We will not charge you until you approve that jobs are complete through our system.  You approve, before we send money.  Bids do not include Ontario 13% sales tax.  Official invoice will be sent out to Employer  through email or mail.

 

Transcriptionist Steps:

STEP 1 – Click on Apply as Freelancer

STEP 2 – Sign up Freelancer Account Free

STEP 3 – Complete profile and fill out as much information for best results

STEP 4 – Now you’re ready to view posted jobs

STEP 5 – Fill out and Submit Confidentiality Agreement Form 

STEP 6 – Purchase a transcription kit or you’re welcome to use your own equipment

STEP – Email a copy of your driver’s license to support@transcribeforme.ca or Health Card as Valid Photo ID

 

Our Mobile dictation app records in a .Wav format.  Download our app and use the trial period to send yourself voice files in order to test compatibility with your Transcription software.  You might have to test send voice files with potential Employers.  We recommend that Transcriptionist download either Dropbox, OneDrive or Icloud services to transfer voice files quickly and securely.  Our recording app is compatible with Dropbox, OneDrive and Icloud.

We payout Freelance workers 15 days from the project completion date by cheque or paypal or direct money transfer (tax free).  We charge a 15% commission fee for each project which is deducted from the Transcriptionist hourly rate.

We ask that you don’t solicit our clients to work outside of our services directly.  We hope to build a strong relationship with our Freelancer community and help promote your abilities.

 

Free to use & completely transparent

Our service is free to use. Our 15% commission is taken from the freelancers hourly rate, before tax. We are not a job agency and frown upon soliciting our website for your own company.  We hold the right to remove users and block IP Addresses of users who build a relationship outside of our website.  Our hope is to provide on-demand transcription services to our group of Lawyers/Doctors/Professionals across Canada.

Freelancer fees will be used for website hosting and upkeep services to support the Transcribeforme.ca platform.  We promote our services online and at Medical/Legal trade shows across Canada. Advertising costs, Google Adwords, SEO, Legal Publications (TLOMA & OBA), Medical Conferences and many other initiatives throughout the year.

Administration fees, 2.9% credit card transaction fees, money transfer fees all included. Employer and Freelance worker will not pay any credit card fees or any additional fees.

We support both parties with all disputes.  We  act as a mediator and come to a compromise for both parties if any problems arise.  Employer does not pay until they are 100% satisfied with work.  Employer & Freelancer will email support@transcribeforme.ca with all issues and we reserve the right to take up to 3 business days to resolve all issues.
